Ahhh, the LJ era of prompt fests, comment fic, and nested comments! Return to those halcyon days with this multi-fandom ficcing community. We're here to write, have fun, and carve up canon for its best bits. We can't wait to see your writing!
We do have a few themed days here in the comm, but don't feel like you have to wait for a themed day to post.
Self-Promotion Monday. Old stuff, new stuff, doesn't matter, post what you're proud of and let us see!
WIP Wednesday. Post something you're working on, having a problem with, want to show off, doesn't matter. Wednesdays are for all things in progress.
Prompt Fest Saturday. We start with 10 prompts; you fill one (or more!), and add three prompts at the end of your fill. People come in and fill those, add their own, et cetera, et cetera. It's a prompt bonanza!
Off Topic Sunday. We'll have a thread that day where anything goes. Playing a new game? Found the cutest cat video ever? Anything goes in this thread for all things non-writing related.
Rules, guidelines, assorted administrative stuffs
1. Nobody likes the Internet Edgelord. Don't be a dick just to be a dick.
2. Racism, sexism, ableism, and the other assorted shit that ruins fandom for people is not welcome, period.
3. Basically, be excellent to each other, live long and prosper, may the Force be with you, and have fun. :D
Tagging and Organization
1. When making standalone writing posts, please be sure to tag with your fandom (ex. Fandom: Bioshock), your ship if there is one, and main characters (ex. Ch: Anakin Skywalker). Also, please be sure to tag any warnings required.
2. If your work is lengthy, please put it behind a cut. Also, please utilize cuts for NSFW and spoilers.
If you'd like to use the standard headers for fic you post, feel free, but they aren't required.
